   Frequently Asked Questions
Question: When I am in Column 2 or 3 and use my "Backspace" button to go back to Column 2 or 1 the page reloads to the previous web page. What is wrong?

Answer: The only Time to use the "Backspace" button while entering a form is when in Column 1 or Column 4. If the "Backspace" button is hit while in Columns 2 or 3 then the button acts as an Internet Browser back button and will load the previous page.

Question: When I load the page to the blank form it is hard to see the whole form. How can I fix this problem?

Answer: There are a couple of options.
1. Use the left, right, up or down arrow keys to move the page left and right or up and down.
2. Position the mouse pointer over the slide bars located on the right side of the screen or at the bottom of the screen. Once the mouse pointer is over the desired slide bar Left Click (and hold the mouse button down) then slide the pointer left and right or up and down.

Question: I need to fix a line I entered earlier but it will not let me tab back to that line, what do I do?

Answer: On the right side of the line you need to fix, click on the "EDIT LINE" link and the page will reload to open that line. Once you have entered the information in correctly make sure you save the line by tabbing to the "ADD LINE" button and hitting the "ENTER" key OR position the mouse pointer over the "ADD LINE" button and Left clicking the mouse once.

Question: Every time I hit the "ENTER" button while entering a form on-line it reloads the page, why?

Answer: For the most part the "ENTER" button is the same as hitting a save button. So when the "ENTER" button is hit it is saving the page and then reloading the page. Start using the "TAB" button to avoid this problem and only use the "ENTER" button when saving the time study is desired.

Question: I have my cursor in the Minutes section (Column 4) but when I try to key in the minutes nothing appears, what is wrong.

Answer: Make sure that the Numeric Lock is on. Check this by looking above the "Num Lock" button (which is located in the upper right hand corner of the numeric keypad) and making sure the light is on. If the light is not on then push the "Num Lock" button until the light is on.

Question: If I need to call JCDC about a problem what information do I need?

Answer: When JCDC receives a call JCDC will ask for the following information: Name, Work ID number, County you work in, the name of the Regional Director and CSM and finally the login password. We will ask this information before we can get to the problem. We want to make sure we have plenty of information to insure we are dealing with the correct person. Answer: How to edit lines. Look to the right of the line that needs changed. Click on the edit line link. This will bring up that line. Do NOT change ANY information EXCEPT the minutes in column four. Change the minutes in column four to zero minutes. Now hit add line. This will be the default for a line entered in error whether it is due to a computer, Internet or user problem. ***If you try to edit a line and try to change the Status or Category it will not let you save the line. It will give you errors*****
